4 Dow Stocks With Winning CEO’s At the Helm

For the second quarter in a row, Cisco Systems [[CSCO]] absolutely let their investors down. The stock plunged over 14% today after the tech giant provided another disappointing outlook. The poor results from Cisco weighed down the Dow Jones index today, stopping a streak of 8 straight gains.

Rather than focusing on a disappointing Cisco, Mad Money host Jim Cramer pointed investors to 4 Dow stocks that are performing well and have winning CEO’s at the helm.

Walt Disney

Bob Iger, CEO of Disney’s [[DIS]], deserves credit for transforming an “undermanaged” company into a “virtual powerhouse”. The Disney brand is invaluable and Iger was able to parlay that brand strength into good earnings results even in the depths of the Great Recession. Now that the economy is getting back on track, Disney’s stable of brands and theme parks are on fire.

Jim Skinner, CEO of McDonald’s [[MCD]], has delivered terrific results despite the rising inflation in commodities.

Coca Cola

Muhtar Kent, CEO of Coca Cola [[KO]], has helped the iconic brand return to its “global giant status”.

George Buckley, CEO of 3M [[MMM]], has helped 3M become one of the most consistent dividend growth stocks in history. The 3M dividend story just keeps getting better with the company recently increasing their dividend for the 53rd straight year.

Investors should never underestimate the value of a winning CEO. They can add billions to a company’s market cap.
