While we at eDividendStocks.com believe that the most effective dividend investing strategy is to own high quality dividend stocks, many investors prefer greater diversification. Mutual funds that invest in dividend stocks often charge exorbitant fees that eat away at your returns. However, dividend ETF’s provides investors with exposure to a wide selection of dividend stocks and generally charge only nominal fees.
An ETF or exchange traded fund, is simply a security that tracks an index of stocks. They have advantages over mutual funds in that they trade like a stock. You can buy or sell shares in an ETF at anytime, while mutual funds can only trade at the end of each day. ETF’s also have expense ratios of less than 0.5%, while expense ratios and management fees on mutual funds sometimes run above 2%.
We have assembled this complete list of dividend ETF’s for the benefit of our fellow dividend investors.

The majority of the dividend ETF’s on this list have posted negative returns in 2010. So while they may offer greater diversification options, only focusing on these ETF options could result in investors missing out on some of the top dividend stock performers.
