Kellogg Increases Quarterly Dividend

Kellogg Company (K: 51.10 +0.99%) announced on Friday that its Board of Directors has increased their quarterly dividend by 10% to $.375.
Kellogg’s current dividend yield now stands at 3.1%.
The dividend will be payable on September 15, 2009 to shareholders of record as of September 1, 2009.
Kellogg’s stock price was virtually unchanged despite news of the dividend increase. However, the stock has gained 9% since the beginning of 2009.
This marks the 339th consecutive quarter that Kellogg has paid out a quarterly dividend. The company has been paying dividends since 1925.
