Capital One Puts Small Dividend in Investors Wallet

Capital One Financial (COF: 39.09 +1.11%) announced yesterday that its Board of Directors has approved a quarterly dividend of $.05 per share.
Capital One’s current dividend yield now stands at 0.7%.
The dividend will be payable on August 20, 2009 to shareholders of record as of August 11, 2009.
The stock closed today up 1.0% at $30.70. Since the beginning of 2009, Capital One’s shares have declined nearly 4%.
The credit card company has now paid dividends every quarter since it went public in 1995.
Last week, the company announced better than expect second quarter earnings results.
