Microsoft Increases Dividend By 18%

Microsoft (MSFT: 30.77 +0.36%) announced yesterday that they are increasing their quarterly dividend by 18% to $.13 per share.
The dividend increase raises the current dividend yield to 3.2%.
The dividend will be payable on Jun 18, 2009 to shareholders of record as of May 21, 2009.
Microsoft’s shares have fallen 15% since the beginning of the year, but jumped 8.8% yesterday on news of the dividend increase and the broader market rally that pushed the Dow up 5.8%.
