Coca-Cola Increases Dividend For 47th Consecutive Year

Coca-Cola Co.’s (KO: 67.97 -0.53%) raised their quarterly dividend to $.41 per share. The dividend will be payable on April 1, 2009 to shareholders of record as of March 15, 2009.
The board of directors voted to increase the dividend by 8% from $.38 per share. The current dividend yield now stands at 3.8%.
The dividend increase represents the 47th consecutive annual increase in the company’s dividend.
